BIOGRAPHY

The AF was born July 21, 1995 in La Spezia (Italy), from an idea of Matteo Angiolini, Francesco Cevasco and Mirko Boracchia who took inspiration from some locals Hardcore bands. The firsts songs reflect this kind of music, sung in Italian with an easy rythm which is fast and energetic at the same time.

In 2001 their first demo, called "Conto alla Rovescia" came out, it contained 3 tracks. The followed year was a turning point for the band, when it became heavy in its sound and lyrics, similar to Death Metal, but still melodic and decadent. In fact the typical Northern-European Melodic Death Metal was the genre of the 2002 new demo "Perse nel buio" the last one performed in Italian. From this moment they switched into English, more fitting to this kind of music. At the time some changes brought two new members into the band: Indrit Halili and Cristian Guzzon.

In 2005, year of their tenth anniversary, all those changes happened, a new sound, new members, and a newly found enthusiasm, the guys were ready to record the third demo: "Atrocity Exhibition" which obtains good review. After that record, the band went on to perform live in different italian cities such as Genoa, Reggio Emilia and Massa Carrara. The present of AF is its latest, "A Far Remembrance". The fourth work and the first full length with 7 songs, where we can see how the band is evolving!
